Question: How much lime do I need for my plot?
Answer: Soil can handle up to two tons of lime per acre per year. There is 43,560 sqft in an acre, so knowing the size of your plot is very important. MaxCal+ lime offers up to 10,000 sqft per 50lb bag. 250lbs per acre (5 bags with a maximum of 10 per year) for excellent results.
Question: How do I apply MaxCal+ lime?
Answer: MaxCal+ is a very consistent pelletized lime with very little to no dust. This allows MaxCal+ to be broadcast very easily through bag & broadcast-style spreaders.
Question: When is the best time to lime?
Answer: Obviously, when the Ph is low. But remember this "Lime any time". Lime can be effectively applied to the soil any time of the year without damaging product or soil.
